Silk quality

What does 22 momme mean? Momme measures the weight and density of silk. 22 momme is a denser weave than the 19 momme most brands use — more substantial, better drape, longer life.

What is Grade 6A? The highest recognised grade of mulberry silk — the longest fibres, even colour, minimal imperfections.

Is your silk certified? Yes — OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, independently tested for harmful substances.

Is this real silk or satin? Real silk. Satin is a weave, not a fibre — most ‘satin’ pillowcases are polyester. Every Lunare piece is 100% pure mulberry silk.

Care & washing

How do I wash silk? 30°C on a delicate or silk cycle, mild pH-neutral detergent, inside a laundry bag. Air dry away from direct heat — never tumble dry.

Can I iron it? Yes, on the lowest (silk) setting, ideally inside out.

Delivery

How fast is UK delivery? Standard £3.99, 2–4 working days — free on orders over £40. Express available at checkout.

Outside the UK? EU 7–14 working days, international 10–20.

Returns — the 30-Night Sleep Trial

How does the 30-Night Sleep Trial work? Sleep on your silk for up to 30 nights. If it's not for you, we refund you in full — and UK returns are free.

How do I start a return? Email hello@lunarehome.co.uk with your order number within 30 days of delivery — we'll send you a free UK return label. Please wash the item following the care guide before returning.

What about faulty items? We cover return shipping and replace or refund straight away.
