Momme measures the weight and density of silk. 22 momme is a denser weave than the 19 momme most brands use — it feels more substantial, drapes better and lasts longer with regular use.

6A is the highest recognised grade of mulberry silk — the longest fibres, even colour and minimal imperfections. It is what gives the fabric its smooth, uniform surface.

Yes — our silk is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified (certificate no. BJ025 172302), which means it has been independently tested for harmful substances and is safe for direct contact with skin. You can verify it any time on the OEKO-TEX® Label Check.

Real silk. Satin is a weave, not a fibre — most ‘satin’ pillowcases are polyester. Every Lunare piece is 100% pure mulberry silk on both sides.

Wash at 30°C on a delicate or silk cycle with a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Use a laundry bag to protect the fabric, and air dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Yes — on the lowest heat (silk setting), ideally inside out while the fabric is slightly damp.
